Nate Utley’s Debut Single: ‘What Up’

(Flagler Beach, FL, June 14, 2017) – Acoustic and rock make for a combination that is unlike anything ever heard. Florida’s very own indie artist Nate Utley’s debut single, ‘What Up’ lives up to this promise with killer guitar leads, deep vocal segments and an upbeat rhythm. The music video officially launched on June 14, and will be followed by the EP, ‘Infinite Potential’ on July 17.
‘What Up’ is a piece of Acoustic Rock that overcomes genre barriers and creates its own musical space. Listeners will find elements of rock aligned with reggae, R&B and pop. A quick lyrical delivery blends them all into a harmonious composition that succeeds in creating a unique sound never heard before.

Infinite Potential is a five-song EP, and comprises tracks such as ‘Blue Dream’, ‘Bet’ and ‘It’s Over’. Amazingly, all of the instruments heard in the songs are played by Nate himself. Nate’s music carries the influence of his favorite artists such as Sublime, Dirty Heads and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

“’What Up’ doesn’t really sound like anything else I’ve heard before. Nate does a great job of seamlessly blending multiple genres and styles together,” said a fan review.

Nate’s musical journey began at the age of 10 when he started playing guitar and other musical instruments. He developed an early interest in rock/metal, but by 13 he found more inspiration from playing acoustic guitar. Further experimentation with singing and pop sub-genres followed, and today Nate is the emerging artist to watch out for with his foray into Acoustic Rock.
‘What Up’ can be bought from Nate’s personal website, and his EP is also available for pre-order. ‘What Up’ is available on popular music platforms such as Amazon mp3, iTunes, Deezer, Google Music, Groove, iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify and Tidal.
