Vibrant Heels

After officially parting ways with their previous band Upon Your Grave , Alex Bussières ( Guitars ), Jordan Jolicoeur ( Vocals ) and Manuel Allaire-Durand ( Drums ) formed Vibrant Heels in Lévis, Québec during the summer of 2015. This new project allowed them to start something fresh with a new outlook on writing songs that represented them better and had no creative borders. In April 2016, Alex Rancourt joined the band as their bass player after graduating from Berklee Music College in Boston, becoming an important part of the band’s sound and motivation to move forward. During that time they wrote around 13-15 songs, and then chose 7 of them that would make the final cut for their first recording. The studio sessions went on from July to November to finally give birth to the first album ‘DRIVEN’. The unique and invigorating sound is inspired by the very different influence of each individuals. Artist like Led Zeppelin, Gojira, Haken, Korn, Deftones are some of them. The album was recorded and Mixed by Raphäel Malenfant from Broil Audio and Michael Fontaine of Frequence Production and then mastered in December by François C. Fortin. The band is already well advanced on the writing process for the sophomore album and is expected to start pre-production work during the summer with high hopes of recording during 2018.
